Mobile Notary Service Fees

Base Fee (within 17 miles of Waldport): $40 includes first Notary Stamp. Each additional stamp is $10.

Travel fees beyond the initial 15 mile radius are an additional $0.50 per mile and based on round-trip miles.

Please determine ahead of time whether witnesses will be required. If we are meeting at my Waldport location, I may be able to provide witnesses. If I am traveling to you, please arrange for witnesses yourself.

Payment is accepted by cash or credit card.

Types of Notarial Certificates

• Witnessing or attesting a signature - The document must be signed in front of the Notary.

  • Example - Certification Document or Insurance Form

• Acknowledgement in an individual or representative capacity - The individual has signed a record for the purpose stated in the record, either for themselves or as a legal representative. Document may be signed ahead of time.

  • Example - Power of Attorney Document or Business Contract

• Administering an oath or affirmation (also known as a Jurat) - Requires a verbal oath or affirmation before the Notary that a statement in a record is true.

  • Example - Witness or Insurance Affidavit

• Certifying or attesting a copy - The Notary determines that the copy is “a full, true and accurate transcription or reproduction of the record or item.” The Notary is responsible for making the copy of the document. Birth and death certificates are not allowed.

  • Example - Copy of a collectable autograph for examination and verification.
